Waxahachie, Texas Oct 2, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - 15 Year old Bella Renfroe opened her first business at the age of 14 in Waxahachie, Texas. The Great Escape. With help from her mother and grandmother, she was able to accomplish opening her first venture.
Bella had been to an escape room for her birthday when she was 12 and thought it would be a fantastic business to add to her town. Bella who is very active in her community wanted to bring something to it that was good clean fun. Bella has been an entrepreneur since she was 5 starting a can collecting business called Cans For Canines. Where should gather all of the cans she could find, recycle them, and donate the money to local animal shelters. Bella has worked at her mom's Investment office for years and thought she was ready for a business on a larger scale. With the help of her mom and grandmother on some of the more technical issues, she opened Dallas fort worth's largest escape room holding 7 rooms. Bella came up with the concepts while her mother Jackie physically built all of the props, gizmo's and gadgets, and Bella's grandmother, Rossy painted, decorated, and brought life to Bella's concepts.
Bella manages the staff, organizes payroll, speaks with customers and is an amazing business woman in the making.
The Great Escape in Waxahachie has a 5-star rating on Yelp and 4.9-star review on Google with hundreds of reviews.
"Everyone in town loved coming with their families and friends, they were having fun which is what I wanted from the start," said Renfroe. "Then the pandemic hit and we have to close up shop, which was not horrible because everyone else had to as well, but never the less, our landlord said rent was still due no matter what." "We opened up a few months ago but now if we cant get some support we may have to close since we have to make up for the 4 month of rent and other bills that were due. I really want to keep this business in my community, for my community, but it's going to take a lot, so please book your games now and come see how much fun you will have with your family and friends."
Bella is hopeful that business will pick back up but for now, she is keeping the building clean and sanitized and still creating new rooms to shine fun during this hard time.
