West Chicago, Illinois Apr 26, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - Thursday, April 28th is National BraveHearts Day! A National Day Calendar Event since 2015, this special day honors the bravery, resolve, and strength of everyone affected by pediatric cancer.
"National BraveHearts Day" day was created by the National Day Calendar and BraveHearts for Kids to honor not only the children fighting this disease, but also the parents, loved ones, and everyone else who cares about them.
In 2008, the founders of BraveHearts for Kids started the organization after their baby girl was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma at the tender age of 13 months. While their daughter ultimately won her battle with cancer, the ordeal created a burning desire to help other families in a similar situation.
Bravehearts for Kids is now the nation's leading Pediatric Cancer Organization connecting families with resources to help them through the nightmare of pediatric cancer. By providing Hope, Inspiration, Guidance, and connection to Resources, they help save children’s lives and support families dealing with Pediatric Cancer.
With the help of Volunteers, Donors, and Ambassadors, the organization continues to grow. BraveHearts for Kids provided programs and services to over 3900 families in 2021.
Please join in celebrating National BraveHearts Day, by joining the circle of BraveHearts dedicated to helping families touched by pediatric cancer through the difficult times.
