Arkearth Announces “Get Pollinated!” Events Benefiting Pollination Projects to Save Bees, Butterflies, and Other Species

Arkearth.org sets spring 2025 for interactive gala featuring original artwork themed on pollination at the Dallas Virgin Hotel

Dallas, Texas Jun 17, 2024 (Issuewire.com)  - Arkearth, a Dallas-based 501(c)3, announces its first fundraising event for Spring 2025 at the Dallas Virgin Hotel. The interactive gala will feature one-of-a-kind pieces from artists around the world. The art will focus on the theme of “pollination” and will showcase various mediums from paintings and photography, to sculptures and digital creations. Works will be available for purchase with proceeds benefiting both Arkearth's "pollination accelerator" projects and the individual artists.

Guests will enjoy live music, dancers, and menu items crafted with ingredients sourced from pollinated plants, fruits, and vegetables. Other highlights include honey-infused specialty drinks, drawings, speakers, and local celebrities.

We’re thrilled to be hosting our first ever event to raise awareness and funds through artwork while working to save pollinators, plant more wildflowers, and help farmers and communities increase crop quantities and quality”, said Arkearth founder, David M Burrows.

Since so many pollinating species are becoming more endangered, the event will feature pollinators from bees and butterflies, to hummingbirds, bats, and moths. Arkearth will present information on upcoming projects and volunteer opportunities for anyone interested in helping save beneficial insects and animals from extinction.

Bees and other pollinators are directly responsible for one-third of every bite of food we enjoy and indirectly responsible for up to 70% of all food items. We are losing these species by the thousands every year but each of us can take steps in helping to save them from extinction and thus, saving ourselves and our food supply”, Burrows added.

Leading up to the big event, Arkearth is hosting monthly mixers and happy hours to celebrate and promote Get Pollinated! The series launched in May at the Mad Hatter Pub, and the June mixer is hosted at Alexandre’s Lounge in Cedar Springs to celebrate Pride & Pollination. Additional events are being scheduled for the following months in 2023. The specific date for the 2025 gala will be announced this summer.
