Award-Winning Nashville Recording Artist CHUCK THOMAS Celebrates His New Album Release HILLBILLY FRIDAY NIGHT

LIVE FULL BAND Performance - Saturday, August 21st at CABANA TAPS in Nashville

Nashville, Tennessee Aug 13, 2021 (Issuewire.com)  - Award-winning singer, songwriter and co-producer CHUCK THOMAS will celebrate the release of his new country music album HILLBILLY FRIDAY NIGHT with an album release party and live performance at CABANA TAPS in Nashville on Saturday, August 21st.

One of Nashville’s top songwriters, Thomas embarks on the next stage of his creative career with the release of his new album, as well as the launch of his independent CHUCK THOMAS MUSIC label and website.  The independent artist has devoted the past 15 years to songwriting and performing, valuing the power of stories to help people heal during difficult times.

The new album includes the title track HILLBILLY FRIDAY NIGHT, as well as six other songs that deserve listening - Inside This Glass, Which Way Should I Go, Light is Gone (written with season nine finalist on “The Voice” Barrett Baber), Heard It All, Still Miss Home, and an acoustic bonus track, Have I Died.

HILLBILLY FRIDAY NIGHT is available to download at Chuck Thomas Music on August 23rd, as well as on other music industry platforms including Amazon, Apple Music, iHeart Radio, iTunes, Pandora, Spotify and TikTok/Resso, among others.

Thomas’s new album features guest performances by many top Nashville musicians, many of whom will join him onstage at Cabana Taps on August 21st to perform the new album, live, including Daniel Dennis (bass), Max Siedman (acoustic guitar), Thomas O’Brien (drums), Justin Weaver (lead guitar), Merna Lewis (fiddle) and Eric Barfield (keyboard) with Angela Hart on background vocals.

“Since I was a kid, country music ran through my blood as I watched relatives around me perform and sing. Years later, I am taking after my family and country roots,” said the Bucks County, Pennsylvania native, now a Nashville transplant. “Singing and writing songs have allowed me to express myself in ways that I wouldn't be able to do otherwise. A song can be more than words and music. When sung with soul, a song carries you to another world.”

Thomas, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, moved to Nashville in 2006 for the next chapter in his life, after many years working in his native Philadelphia as a fitness trainer and sports trainer. He has dedicated this “second act” to music and along the way has accomplished a number of enviable achievements, most recently being selected the 2019 Josie Music Awards Songwriter of the Year for his body of work.  At the 2019 Global Music Awards, Thomas won the silver medal for Modern Country Music Songwriter for his song, “Signs.” In 2018, Thomas won The Josie Award for Modern Country Song of The Year for "God Gave Me All I Need" as well as Album of the Year for "Cigarettes and Whiskey" at the 2018 NIMA Awards.
