Gear up for Back to School with Y-KNOT INC’S THIRD Annual BACKPACK Give-Away
Y-KNOT Inc. is hosting a backpack giveaway on August 28, 2021. This is the third year the group hosts the giveaway; this program will provide vital school supplies to almost 250 kids about to begin the school year without the proper essentials.
This activity aims to support the underprivileged children within the community to discover, embrace, and achieve their full potential as we understand that sometimes families have limited resources. It's our pleasure to provide a backpack and tools to help prepare them for a successful school year and beyond. Events like this help reduce the financial burden of the parents and empower children to focus on learning and not supplies that they don’t have.

The event is on August 28 at Andrew Jackson Academy, 3500 Regency Parkway District Heights, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This will be a family-friendly summer event with food, music, activities, and community resources. It is free and open to all who want to come; you are advised to register yourself in advance by visiting www.yknotinc.org.
Masks are required for the attendees.
