The Jacksonville Armada FC is a professional soccer team in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL). The Armada play their home games at Patton Park in Jacksonville. Last year, The Armada clinched its first-ever playoff appearance by finishing second overall in the Sunshine Conference and won its first playoff game against Miami United FC. Their schedule kicks off in May.
The Jacksonville Axemen play in the USA Rugby League (USARL), a 21-team semi-professional league. Since their inception, The Axemen have become one of the most successful rugby football clubs in the country. They play their home games at Hodges Stadium at the University of North Florida, and their games begin in June.
