What are Trade Show Displays?

A trade show display is essential to make sure the show attendees are giving your business complete attention. This display also showcases what your business has to offer, reaching the target audience. To put it simply, it is a presentation at a trade exhibition or fair that puts the business’ products, services, and other offerings on display. Here, companies get a chance to grab the attention of industry professionals as well as potential customers. Typically, a trade show display would include a booth structure, product displays, signage, and graphics. The setup aims to get the maximum attention while showcasing primary offerings effectively and communicating key messages with the attendees.

What are the Different Trade Show Displays?

You can choose from many types of trade show displays that can be configured in just any imaginable way. But, the two most common trade show displays are -

  • Panel Displays - These are the most stable ones and tend to be more challenging and heavier to assemble in the place. You can configure them easily in multiple ways as you will find various rectangular sections, covered in fabric and easily able to connect.
  • Pop-up Exhibits - These consist of a much more flexible panel that is attached to “an accordion-style frame” and expands and then locks into a place to create an angled wall. This is the structure then becomes the back wall of the trade show booth. Some major attributes that a pop-up exhibit includes are that they are less expensive, easier to set up, lightweight, and easy to travel with.

Some of the other trade show displays are modular exhibits which are similar to a panel display, pipe-and-drape displays which have metal frames draped in fabric, and truss displays which consist of steel or aluminum frames.

What Benefits Does a Trade Show Display Bring?

Whenever there is a business conference or a trade show, your trade display can bring you the most benefits. The advantages are -

  • Meaningful Leads - The trade show displays help companies generate some meaningful leads as a standout will bring much more attention than a typical setup. This attention will most likely come from people who are in general a great fit for your products, services, or vision.
  • High ROI - Trade shows might be expensive, which is why stand-out trade shows are necessary for companies. You can make your display as eye-catching and attention-grabbing as you can, the more they are, the more leads you can generate. This gives you a higher chance of converting these generated leads into sales. So, you get a higher Return On Investment of ROI.
  • In-person Meetings - Since the digital media took over, most lead generations have happened online. However, at trade display shows, your company gets the chance to generate leads in a physical space. You get a chance to meet up with your prospect in person, which gives you a better idea of what your target audience expects from you. This also gives you a fairly better idea of whether the lead will convert into sales.

The trade display shows also give companies the chance to gather market insights. When you attend a trade show, you can interact with attendees and observe your competitors, along with gaining valuable information about market trends. You also get knowledge about customer preferences and potential areas of improvement in your product or service.

When you want to take part in a trade display show, you have two options. You can either rent the place or buy it for your company. If you are confused about whether to purchase or rent the place, considering the size of the trade show display along with the number of trade shows is the first step.
