All children admitted to the program are personally interviewed along with the parent or guardian by an interdisciplinary team consisting of a nurse, social worker, and physical therapist.
Because Brookside Multicare Nursing Center is a multi-generational campus, children benefit from interaction with older residents. Creative and innovative activities include sensory programming, pet therapy, art and music programs, trips, computer classes, and games.
A professional educational coordinator meets each day with young residents in a classroom setting, where children have access to computers, a library, reading groups, education toys and more.
