Las Vegas, Nevada Sep 13, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - Bursting Through, a Las Vegas-based social justice movement focused on the Queer/Straight relationship, will launch the first National Out Ally Day on November 13 at The Space, 3460 Cavaretta Ct., Las Vegas, NV.
National Out ally day will be held from 6:30-9:00 PM. Tickets are $25 and will be available to purchase through The Space website once available.
The three-act extravaganza will celebrate, activate and empower everyone in Las Vegas who identifies as an LGBTQIA+ ally, says Steve Petersen, National Out Ally Day organizer and founder of Bursting Through.
“It’s important for the LGBTQIA+ Community and allies to come together this way because if we want to advance basic human rights, we need to have a different conversation. That conversation not only acknowledges our shared humanity but examines our differences in an emotionally mature and honest way.” Steve added.
He continued “The Bursting Through experience is powerful because Queer and Straight voices are brought together in unison with each person given space to be who they are and who they need. Bursting Through allows people to learn how to best support each other and move forward with both knowledge and power; in the form of easy activism.”
Highlights of National Out Ally Day:
● An interactive reception where guests will tour the Alley Of Allyship and share what allyship means to them.
● A high-energy, entertaining, informative show in three acts: Celebrate, Activate and Empower.
● The show will feature Las Vegas entertainers and a panel of Empowerment Experts for live audience Q&A, plus recognition for dynamic LGBTQIA+ allies.
● The release of Bursting Through’s Original National Out Ally Day Anthem.
