This fan-powered contest allows bands to submit for consideration, with the top six artists—as determined by public vote—earning a spot on the OG Stage at Cali Roots 2025, taking place May 23-25, 2025, at the Monterey County Fairgrounds.
The Wild Card Contest is an open invitation for independent and up-and-coming bands to showcase their talents on one of the most revered festival stages in the world. Slightly Stoopid, Iration, Atmosphere, J Boog, The Movement, Collie Buddz, Anthony B, Mike Love, Tarrus Riley, Fia, Surfer Girl, Boostive, and Estrella.
Sunday, May 25:
Dirty Heads, T-Pain, SOJA, Common Kings, Steel Pulse, Matisyahu, Eli-Mac, Landon McNamara, Lila Ike, Aurorawave, Josh Heinrichs, Cydeways, and Sensory Tribe.
