Mumbai, Maharashtra Feb 4, 2019 (Issuewire.com) - On World Cancer Day, D Y PATIL DENTAL SCHOOL, (DYPDS) LOHEGAON, PUNE, organized a rally and Public Awareness Program as a part of their effort to spread awareness about causes of cancer. Students and staff members of DYPDS participated in the Rally and Public Awareness Camp.
The rally started from Dhanori Police Station to Dhanori Jakat Naka, where the students performed a STREET PLAY for the public. The rally then progressed to Lohegaon Bus Stop where another street play was organized. The play highlighted various types of carcinogenic substance abuse by youth like tobacco, cigarettes, alcohol and other related products. It also stressed the growing percentage of various cancers in the population and the need to avoid and ban such substances.
