Gurgaon, Haryana Aug 18, 2026 (Issuewire.com) - ChefKart Hospitality Private Limited (“ChefKart” or the “Company”), an India-based, technology-enabled platform through which households book trained and verified home chefs for recurring in-home cooking services, today confirmed that it has entered into a letter of intent (the “LOI”) with GreetEat Corporation (OTC: GEAT) (“GreetEat”) concerning GreetEat’s merger with ChefKart — a milestone the Company describes as the next step in its mission to transform how India eats.
The announcement lands as ChefKart’s business is accelerating. The platform recorded 24,583 monthly bookings in April 2026 alone, with more than 70% repeat business and an average customer rating of 4.75 out of 5 stars, powered by an active network of more than 250 chefs and cooks across 10 operating clusters in Gurugram.
Since its founding in 2020, ChefKart has supported more than 3 million meals, served more than 100,000 families and trained more than 5,500 cooks. Its mobile application has driven approximately 1.8 million installs across more than 50 cities — cumulative measures that are distinct from the Company’s current operating footprint, active-chef count and monthly booking activity cited above.
ChefKart is bringing structure and trust to an everyday household service that has traditionally depended on informal referrals and word of mouth. The Company's on-demand service starts at ₹349 per session, with pricing based on the number of people, number of dishes, locality and timing. The same simple model flexes to a wide range of use cases — from a homely, everyday meal for a family of four to catering for a gathering of 15–20 people — giving customers one consistent, reliable service regardless of the occasion.
Every chef and cook on the platform completes identity verification, background review, skills assessment and training in soft skills, cooking and kitchen hygiene before taking a booking. Ongoing customer ratings, feedback and service monitoring support accountability across the network, while the app gives customers upfront pricing, easy scheduling and live service tracking.
“ChefKart was built to make dependable, professionally delivered home cooking effortless for households, while giving chefs and cooks real, structured earning opportunities,” said Vaibhav Gupta, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ChefKart. “The milestones we’re reporting today show just how much appetite there is for what we’ve built, and we couldn’t be more excited about where this is headed. Partnering with GreetEat gives us the fuel to bring this experience to many more households across new geographies in India, and we’re looking forward to completing this transaction and building the next chapter together.”
Under the LOI, and subject to completion of the transaction and satisfaction of the applicable conditions, ChefKart would become a wholly owned subsidiary of GreetEat. In exchange for their equity interests, ChefKart’s shareholders would receive shares of GreetEat Series A Preferred Stock, subject to the terms of the definitive agreements based upon the LOI. ChefKart’s management team is expected to continue leading and growing the merged business as part of GreetEat’s broader technology-platform strategy, with access to GreetEat’s strategic resources.
As stated in GreetEat’s press release, “GreetEat Signs Binding LOI to Acquire ChefKart,” the proposed transaction remains subject to due diligence, negotiation and execution of definitive agreements, required approvals, financing and other customary closing conditions. Both companies have executed a binding LOI and are committed to working in earnest toward completion of the proposed transaction; however, there can be no assurance that it will be completed on the contemplated terms, within any anticipated timeframe, or at all.
