The Children’s Talking Dictionary in English is the first of its kind, new genre sound book designed as the first touch paper screen-free language learning experience for kids 6 – 14+.

Simply touch the images on the paper with your finger and TA-DA! they come to life, bringing you, real, native speakers from around the globe - in high-def sound. There is no exposed plastic, no CDs, no plugs, no pens or computers required. We like to think of it as an iPad® without the screen.

A dictionary is an interactive tool for learning a language that’s great for native and non-native speakers alike, as it provides a fun and effective way for kids to play with words - and consequently, build a strong foundation in a language that will last a lifetime

  • 1,000 words: a complete vocabulary program in book form, and the minimum number of words studies have shown to be necessary for conversation in another language.
  • 10,000+ sounds: custom sound effects, cultural facts, and vocabulary
  • Up to 23 randomized native speakers per word(and an average of 14 per word) sharing correct pronunciation of words―from the everyday and conversational to culturally focused.
  • Gamification: 5 levels of seeking and find a game play on each spread

About TA-DA! Language Productions

Co-Founded by Michelle Glorieux and 4-time Grammy® award-winning music producer Jesse Lewis,  TA-DA! is an EdTech start-up created to inspire children to explore the magic of language. TA-DA! believes language learning for children should be immersive and fun. Children should have a way to interact with native speakers no matter what languages their family speaks; they should be able to embark as early as possible, and it should be accessible without screens in the early years. TA-DA! magically weaves paper technology, art, words, storytelling, music, and sound for children ages 0-14+ to bring native speakers to children so that they may learn languages & culture in a fun new way.
