Chinese and American Entrepreneurs Create Non Profit Platform China Club

New York City, New York Jan 23, 2019 (Issuewire.com)  - China Club, Global Fertility & Genetics (www.globalfertility.net) and Extell Development Company jointly hosted an evening gathering celebrating the Chinese New Year by announcing the establishment of a non-profit organization— The China Club in Manhattan, New York. Annie Liu, Co-founder of the China Club, and Co-founder and CEO of Global Fertility & Genetics, announced that she and her husband would donate “China Club”, name of the company they had been running for five years and transform it into a non-profit organization that aims at helping both Chinese and American entrepreneurs to succeed by providing business information and networking opportunities.

China Club was originally founded by Annie Liu and Kurt Yang in 2014. The company was established to provide Chinese customers with premium, personalized services in medicine, education, and real estate. At the event, Kurt Yang presented China Club’s achievements over the past five years since its inception, and expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation for their guests’ continued support and help throughout the years.

Annie Liu and Kurt Yang announced the donation of China Club’s name with a ceremonial presentation of an ice sculpture in the shape of a bridge. As the symbol of China Club’s new vision as a non-profit platform, the sculpture represents the new path to “bridge” more entrepreneurs to business opportunities and cooperation in both China and the United States. In addition to the key founders of the new China Club, Kaiyuan Wang, Board member of the President JFK Library Foundation and Associate of Fairbank Center for Chinese Studies at Harvard University; Jun Hou, Founder of AutoNavi and Chairman of the Entrepreneur’s Training Camp at Peking University; and Annie Liu, other founders include Hang Xu, Chairman of Shenzhen Mindray Medical Company and Parkland Group, and Jing Wang, Chairman and CEO of Toread and President of Everest Future Foundation. As Mr. Xu and Ms. Wang were not able to be present at the event, they sent video congratulations for the founding of the new China Club. Bo Hu, Chairman of Ciming Medical Group, also sent video congratulations.

Kaiyuan Wang delivered a speech on behalf of the co-founders of the new China Club. Wang pointed out that although there was no shortage of long-established organizations established by Chinese Americans in the US, the influence of the Chinese American community, however, remains insufficient, especially compared with such influential organization as the American Jewish Congress. In response to the situation, Mr. Wang and other co-founders decided to start a new platform to and speak for the Chinese community in the US.

“The goal of the China Club is to win Chinese Americans more and more respect through the efforts of one, two, three, or more generations,” said Kaiyuan Wang. “While serving the Chinese American community, the China Club will also strive to make meaningful contributions to the American society as a whole,”

In an interview towards the end of the evening, co-founder Jun Hou pointed out that “Currently, the structural contradictions between China and the United States are expected to exist for a long time. Resolving these contradictions is key to solving many of the world’s problems, which requires the wisdom of our generation and future generations. Looking from another perspective, the current critical situation also provides huge opportunities for Chinese and American entrepreneurs, especially young entrepreneurs. Building a platform to facilitate communication between entrepreneurs, especially young entrepreneurs, from both countries, and providing them with a full range of services to help them achieve success in each other’s country is one of the most important reasons why we established the China Club. I hope that more and more good friends will join us to make a happy life and grow together with us while contributing to the communication between China and the United States.”

Gary Barnett, President, and Founder of Extell Development Company, and Jose Rasco, Chief Investment Strategist at HSBC Private Banking, were in attendance as speakers and shared their opinions on the 2019 outlook for the commercial property and financial markets.

Jack Rosen, Chairman of the American Jewish Congress also attended the celebration.

As a non-profit platform, the China Club will organize more meaningful activities and events, bringing together leaders from various industries to exchange thoughts and ideas on issues that are of common interest to entrepreneurs in both China and the United States. The China Club will strive to provide the most cutting-edge industry information to help Chinese and American entrepreneurs to overcome language and cultural barriers and succeed in all of their entrepreneurial endeavors.
