In June of 2010, Mr. Ingram accepted an invitation to join a partnership group in OpenVision Networks, Inc. The Company operated a video content streaming platform that had an intuitive user interface, original content, and great technology and it sought to compete with Netflix, Hulu, and other streaming services. Mr. Ingram provided day‐to‐day leadership in the Company while strategically positioning the business as an attractive acquisition candidate through controlled content implementation, operational matrix, and improved valuation.
In 1989, Mr. Ingram, 20 years old at the time created the CX‐24 Home Plaque Removal, an electronic toothbrush that gained patent pending status in 1990 and reached the market in 1991. In 1993 Mr. Ingram launched Continental Financial Group (CFG), an agency specializing in the recovery of non‐performing loans, bank primary charge off accounts, and subrogation portfolios between hospitals, physicians, and insurance companies. CFG was absorbed in 1997 through a Management Buy‐Out.
In early 2001, Christopher Ingram Atlanta GA was asked to join IPA Consultant Group as a Senior Business Analyst in Chicago, IL. The firm is still the largest independent consulting firm that specializes in change management, system customization, acquisitions, valuations, and capital formations. Mr. Ingram left the Company in 2003 to launch Nortech Communications, which succumbed to a market squeeze due to an unexpected shift in low voltage demand, voice over IP, and system integration. After identifying an opportunity in 2003 from the popularity of South Beach Diet, Atkins Diet, and others, Mr. Ingram launched Natures House, Inc., an All-Natural Product Distribution company with internal bottling solutions and private label packaging for other distributors.
The Company’s core product was called Herbalxx Teas and was offered in major retail stores across the country. Natures House grew organically through several acquisitions and in 2008, the company merged with The Outlet Nutrition Company. Outletnutrition.com was an online retailer with over 5,000 different products in the area of health & vitality (i.e. vitamins, supplements, men’s health, women’s health, etc.) through 2010.
In 2009, Christopher Ingram Forsyth County was also accepted by MasterCard International as a prepaid card distributor and granted national territorial rights to launch the very first environmental awareness prepaid Mastercard.
