Rockford, Illinois Jan 16, 2019 (Issuewire.com) - Devoted classic rock fans might recognize Glen Bridger — a Platte City, MO., resident and former owner of The Music Store in St. Joseph, MO — as Head East’s lead guitarist of the last sixteen years. Glen created the band Bridger to express his own creative vision.
Glen Bridger, alongside sometimes member Chrissy Fike, and Head East bandmates Darren Walker, Eddy Jones, and Greg Manahan, performs a truly genuine rock and roll show combining influences from Van Halen to Bon Jovi with modern rock sounds inspired by bands like Theory of a Deadman and Sister Hazel. As well, Bridger and the gang perform a mix of their own songs, Head East classics and several classic and modern rock covers.
“We kind of hit it all,” Glen says. “... We have a good time.”
Another thing to keep in mind, these guys have been rockin’ with the rest of Head East the last 20 years, as well as some collaboration with Terry Ilhous of XYZ /Great White fame — keep an eye out for surprise guests.
Special guests, Red-Ball-Jet and Slippery Pickles will open the show at 8 p.m. THIS IS A 21 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER EVENT. Advanced tickets available online at EventBrite or locally at Victory Sports Complex and Guzzardo Performance Music in Rockford, IL; and Black Diamond Music in Freeport, IL.
