Melbourne, Victoria Mar 31, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - The team behind Cliniko has expedited the launch of a new telehealth video conferencing feature that allows practitioners to conduct appointments remotely. This new feature is built into the Cliniko platform, and includes video chat, one-click entry to meetings, screen-sharing, and more.
Practitioners will be able to create patient notes directly on the conferencing page during online appointments. Previous treatment notes and medical alerts will also be visible to practitioners on the conference screen. It can be used on desktop and mobile by practitioners and patients.
The new feature will be temporarily offered free of charge to all subscribers and new trialists in order to help more practices safely serve patients during this challenging time. In the long term, practitioners can continue using telehealth by expanding service access to disabled, high-risk, or rural patients.
