London, United Kingdom Aug 29, 2018 (Issuewire.com) - Rogue Events, in collaboration with The Game Theatre, are pleased to announce the release of Aces & Operatives in the U.K. This unique and thrilling experience takes place on the 22nd September in the beautiful and exclusive setting of the RAF Club London. Surrounded by larger than life portraits of Churchill and other stern-looking military figures, guests take part in an interactive cold-war era spy vs spy showdown.
Much like a murder mystery, each guest becomes an agent in an intriguing plot-line, where world events are decided in one fateful evening over cocktails and canapés. Throughout the course of the night, the government ‘Aces’ are pitted against the hidden ‘Operatives’, who’ve infiltrated these national organizations and are bent on global destruction. Using social deduction, the aces must discover these operatives and take them down before they can sabotage high-value missions. “This evening is all about social deduction and interaction” explains Cameron Readman, CEO, “it makes for a really exciting evening when we thrust everybody into an environment where you must interact with others but can trust no-one.”
As well as top-secret missions, there is also a picturesque classic bar room where participants can enjoy an expertly made cocktail, servers bring around canapés while spies discuss the latest world crisis and there’s even casino games in which you can taunt your political enemies while throwing down a royal flush. After throwing on a suave tux, practicing your sardonic eyebrow raise and holding a highball class with your favourite tipple it’s easy to see how, with the scenic surroundings, guests can easily become immersed in the world of espionage. “This event is close to my heart”, says Stuart Munnich, Chairman, “I have always enjoyed spy novels and films and to bring that to life, here, in such an awesome setting is such a privilege.”
The immersive event is brought to you by Rogue Events Ltd, known for creating Bothwell School of Witchcraft; the wizarding school experience that lets participants plunge themselves in a fictional magical universe with all the trimmings. The night was originally designed by The Game Theatre and has been run successfully in the U.S over several years, now it is being produced this side of the Atlantic. Combined they have established “The Game Theatre: London” with more collaborations to come in the future!
