Nashville, Tennessee Aug 27, 2024 (Issuewire.com) - South Georgia native Cole Tomlinson wows crowds with music that tells stories of everyday life with catchy lyrics during his high-energy stage shows. ‘HonkyTonk Heaven’ is full of the same sing-along lyrics combined with Tomlinson’s pure vocal sound.
“I was playing a closing shift down at Tootsie’s, got the idea during the set, and wrote it down. After the show, I couldn’t wait to finish it, so I stayed in the parking garage until 6 the next morning writing the song.” Recorded at Soultrain Sound Studio by Justin Courtelyou and Produced by Art Ward for Century Music Group, ‘HonkyTonk Heaven’ is the first song from an EP to be released in late October.
Though he's new to the mainstream, Tomlinson has been preparing for his emergence in country music since he was twelve. Recognized and awarded in multiple music associations, Tomlinson has opened for country superstars and legends. He wrote and released two singles in 2018 and 2021.
In 2021 Tomlinson moved his music business to Nashville, Tennessee, signed a publishing deal the following year, and set out to release a full EP. ‘HonkyTonk Heaven’ will be available on all music platforms on September 6th, 2024.
