Dandiya For a Cause at DY Patil International School, Worli

Mumbai, Maharashtra Oct 15, 2019 (Issuewire.com)  - In keeping with the traditional philanthropic values of the DY Patil Family, the DY Patil International School, Worli ensured that their recently concluded Dandiya Utsav 2019 was another feather in the cap to this glorious tradition.

The students partnered with Project Chirag, to help bring their 'Light for All' project to fruition. The Dandiya Utsav 2019 helped raise funds for the NGO Project Chirag, an initiative of Chirag Rural Development Foundation, one of India's largest youth-driven initiatives providing solar lighting to villages that have no access to grid electricity. With support from Philanthropists, Trusts, Universities and the Business Community they are able to translate their dreams into reality. 

Students and Parents alike participated with great fanfare and enthusiasm and Harshit Parikh was crowned the Male Best Dancer in the student category. Danisha Seth stood out as the Winner among the girlsSejal Kanakia was conferred with the Best Dancer award among the parents. The fun and entertainment quotient was high at this event with exciting activity stalls like balloon shooting, tattoo/ face painting, hair braiding, glitter mehendi, lac bangle stall, diya painting and photo booth.
