Daredevil 1 Horwitz Publications

Los Angeles, California May 14, 2020 (Issuewire.com)  - The first thing that may come to mind is "Daredevil" what makes this comic worth so much?

We will give you a bit of history regarding Horwitz and this highly sought after Daredevil title.

Horwitz original content focused mainly on the western and war titles dating back to the original Timely/Atlas pre-code period. Books such as Kid ColtOutlaw KidRawhide Kid and others along with several Charlton titles, also predominately war and westerns.

Horwitz did dabble in superhero books publishing all too few titles from the Marvel range. Sadly, as with the bulk of comic books, Horwitz published in the 1960s, details and actual copies of these books are scarce at best.

This brings us to the rarest comic on the planet Daredevil #1 (Horwitz) 1st Edition 1964/1965. Horwitz reprint of Daredevil art is said to be superior to the U.S released version. Horwitz Daredevil art was created by Maurice Bramley.

Horwitz publication of Daredevil #1 would be his last, while fans demand more it only lasted for a single issue. This issue of Daredevil is extremely rare, actually so rare there's one (1) surviving copy of this comic, Which was graded 2.0 by CGC

For collectors looking to purchase this one of a kind comic; Rand Comics has it listed for $2,760,000.00.
