George Town, Penang Jan 24, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - Digital Penang Sdn Bhd, a state agency of Penang, today announced the appointment of Dato’ Ng Wan Peng (黄婉冰) as Board of Director, effective Jan 4th, 2022. Following the appointment of Dato’ Ng, the Board will comprise a total of 11 directors under the leadership of Chairman YAB Chow Kon Yeow and Vice-Chairman YB Zairil Khir Johari.
Dato’ Ng, is currently President of Big Bad Wolf Ventures Sdn Bhd, and leads the group’s digital transformation agenda. Dato’ Ng brings a wealth of experience from her previous roles with Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) as Chief Operating Officer, Vice President, and Senior Manager for more than 20 years. During her time at MDEC, she has led several successful digital enablers from talent development, industry capability development, cybercities, to MSC flagship initiatives among others.
She has a strong track record having led key initiatives in the e-commerce ecosystem, Digital Free Trade Zone (DFTZ), developing the financial technology (Fintech) ecosystem, and accelerating startups to drive digital transformation at national and international levels.

Dato’ Ng also currently holds three directorship titles – Independent Non-Executive director in Securemetric Berhad, Independent Non-Executive director Hong Leong Assurance Berhad, and Independent and Non-Executive Director Fraser & Neave Holdings Bhd.
Dato’ Ng received a Bachelor of Computer Science from University Sains Malaysia and was in the Senior Executive Leadership Program of Harvard Business School.
