David P Suade launches the African Recording Company

Providing major label services, publishing, and distribution to independent music artists on the African Continent.

Nairobi, Kenya Aug 11, 2022 (Issuewire.com)  - The independent music sector is one that has flourished on the continent of Africa despite its technological hurdles and lack of government support. Now we are seeing an invasion of the Big 4 record labels from the west, which will definitely change the landscape of music in Africa forever.

Amazing music has been coming out of Africa for centuries, unfortunately, these artists aren't still being paid, and still aren’t receiving recognition.  With the influx of the Big 4 labels invading the continent, we’d like to ensure the music artists are educated on all the different ways music generates revenue and work with local governments to nurture the youth. We also like to assist in creating the technological infrastructure to help them monetize African music as a profitable export. If not, you're going to see a repeat of what happened to African American musicians like Muddy Waters, in the 1950s.

The African Recording Company is currently focused on supporting the next upcoming wave of independent artists, record labels, influencers, and entrepreneurs from the continent, to deliver global exposure, and further expand the reach of African culture throughout the globe.

The African Recording Company has partnered with studios in Nairobi, Kenya. Has partnered with recording studios in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. “We also have plans to open a recording studio and creative hub for artists and creators in the underserved community of Freetown, Sierra Leone,” says David P Suade, CEO.

“Currently Africa has the largest youth population. If we support and educate them, there’s no way we can lose. “
