While fighting for his life in the hospital in March of 2020, Deion Campbell contracted Covid-19 and developed life-threatening symptoms such as double pneumonia. It was a difficult decision for Campbell to put down her camera after her battle with Covid-19 left her with nerve damage in her right arm. At this point in time, King Legend Photography is no longer taking photos or videos. If anything, Campbell’s experience with Covid-19 has pushed him in a new direction professionally rather than away from photography. To cope with his nerve damage, Campbell underwent physical therapy and wrote a book called “Ventilator” about his experiences with Covid-19. He also started a podcast called King Legend Talks.
