He completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at Nassau University Medical Center in New York, where he was also Chief Resident of the Internal Medicine Residency Program. He was awarded Intern of the Year, Resident of the Year, and Fellow of the Year during his training. Dr. Rajan also completed a 4th year fellowship in advanced inflammatory bowel disease at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore in 2016.
A specialist in the health of the digestive system, Dr. Rajan is board-certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
