Atlanta, Georgia Oct 10, 2021 (Issuewire.com) - Dr. Apples: The Eye has successfully copped a spot and has centered itself as a top contender for the Film Impact Georgia Grant Fall 2021.
The brainchild of multimedia artist Lacye Brown, Dr. Apples: The Eye is the latest installment from her masterfully crafted Dr. Apples Universe.
This iteration of the story follows a magical egotistical teenager left on his own to conjure up the greatest spell to enhance his powers.
The outcome is disastrous and he is thrust into the unknown, facing consequences that will forever alter his life. What’s even better is the screenplay will be made in claymation.
Dr. Apples: The Eye joins a slew of rising Georgia-based filmmakers vying for a $5,000 grant to support filmmakers in producing short films.
The grant is aimed explicitly at films less than forty minutes, allowing filmmakers to practice their craft and propel their artistry.
In addition to the $5,000 cash prize, competitors will receive a mentor. The winner will be announced on November 01, 2021.
