Dr Khan developed several systems to help patients to make things more convenient. "See, being a caring physician means wanting to ease the difficulties faced by people, especially your patients.", said Dr Khan.

He wants to lessen the burden of the sick. However, he also wants attending physicians to have a convenient time as well. Dr Khan shared that he wanted to reduce the stress that different treatments give the patient.

His primary goal was to help the patients, and the systems that he developed is a way of reducing the burdens placed on the patients.

"I developed the Telemedicine model to make the medical examination of patients more convenient for them, by providing this service in the patient's home.", Dr Khan said.

The model makes use of an interactive video call. The medical assistant present in the patient's home adequately supports the primary physician or nurse practitioner.

The medical electronic equipment present allows the primary physician to hear internal sounds in real-time.

Dr Khan also developed the Medication Management Program. It aims to remove the burden of the patients' medication. "Being ill is difficult enough, so treatment shouldn't be an additional stress.", Dr Khan is quoted saying.

The Medication Management Program works by sending an automated text to the patients at the prescribed times. It's a reminder to take their medication. This way, patients get the full benefits from their medication through the timely intake. Also, at the same time, they get to focus on things other than their illness.

But, if in case the patient does not reply to the reminder, the Medication Management Program alerts the assigned caregiver. The designated caregiver then checks the patient.

The program also generates a monthly report for the prescribing physician to track the medication compliance of their patient.

The medication is placed in an easy to use pill pack and mailed to the patient by the participating pharmacy. This method is done for the patients' convenience, so they won't have to go to the pharmacy and organize their medication themselves.

Dr Haider Ali Khan MD shared that he has developed two other programs.

Both are on electronic systems and are intended to increase the accuracy of information. These are the E-Prescription program and the Electronic Health Record program.

These programs allow the sharing of the patients' information electronically. They also avoid time delays and decrease errors. Moreover, they minimize inconvenience. And, it also secures the patient against the fraudulent use of personal information.

Dr Khan was delighted to share his accomplishments with everyone. He concluded by strongly advising everyone to work for the betterment of society.

Dr Khan said, "My advice to all juniors, colleagues, readers, and all concerned people would be to work for the betterment of society. Regardless of what profession you belong to.".
