The chemistry and formulations based on ongoing research from Dr. Kessler’s lab in the Boston area of the US & multiple patents in Iodine chemistry would be promoted in India through Dr. Kessler’s I2 Labs. Dr. Jack Kessler has already begun to set up the framework and build the infrastructure to expand his work in India as well. Mr. Douglas Spitz, CEO & Ramesh Menon, President would head the commercial operations while Dr. Jack Kessler would spearhead the R&D and product development.
When quizzed about the uniqueness of Molecular Iodine (I2) over legacy Povidone Iodine products, Jack Kessler (Ph.D.) said ~ “Global health & economies are devastated by pathogens on a continual basis. The only way to overcome this condition is with absolute focus on patients and people’s health and to impact outcomes significantly. Ineffective therapies have led to microbial resistance creating this perfect storm. The cost borne is both economic and human. About Dr. Jack Kessler
Dr. Jack Kessler. Dr. Kessler’s academic journey began at Steven’s Institute of Technology where he obtained his Bachelor of Science. He later went on to achieve his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the State University of New York, Syracuse.
Dr. Jack Kessler has worked as Senior Scientist, New Technology Evaluation at Hoffman-LaRoche, a Swiss multinational healthcare company. He later went on to work as Senior Principal Systems Engineer at Elbit Systems of America.
