She is faculty in the Department of Pharmacology, at Sardar Patel Medical College. Bikaner since 2010. Sardar Patel Medical College is a renowned Medical College in Bikaner. With a long-lived reputation span, the college is recognised statewide and even countrywide as an esteemed medical school associated with the group of hospitals.
Since childhood (Born:1982), she has had interests in Science, everything brilliant and creative, and has worked hard always to excel best in her academics. Alma mater was Sophia Sr Secondary School, Bikaner. She secured 3rd Merit in State Board Exams in 10th and 12th standard.
After schooling, she graduated from Sardar Patel Medical College, Bikaner, and later, she also earned a postgraduate diploma (PGDHM) in Hospital Management from the Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI), Hyderabad, India. She post-graduated from R.N.T. Medical College, Udaipur. Meanwhile, she has proud badges for learning French language basics (A few of her English and French language courses can be found on Udemy), Certifications in Nutrition & Dietetics (General & Child Nutrition).
Her hobbies are Reading, Drawing, Music & Spoken French.
She strongly believes in the Value and Power of Time, Prayers, and Purpose-driven consistency as strong foundation elements of one’s life.
She is best known for her Podcast and Book, "Is Pharmacology Difficult". As M.B.B.S, M.D. Pharmacology, Dr. Radhika Vijay hosts "Is Pharmacology Difficult Podcast" of her own subject to make it an updated, easy and creative learning on all major platforms like Apple, Google, Spotify, YouTube, etc.
The "Is Pharmacology Difficult" Series consists of Books on different topics and Systems in Subject Pharmacology as a whole. There is a different colour of the Shooting Star on the cover of each of the different books. A New Colour stands for a New Topic or New System of the subject Pharmacology while the basic cover remains the same..:)
Pharmacology is a branch of medicine dealing with the study of drugs, their mechanism, characteristics, and interactions with the living system. It covers broadly all aspects of drugs and medicines like drug origin and development, effects, uses, adverse effects, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics profiles, etc.
With research interests in Pharmacology, Medicine, and allied fields and subjects, Dr. Radhika Vijay has attended and presented at some well-known academic conferences and published a few research articles in medical journals.
