The appointment was made on 6th December 2018 at Kathmandu, Nepal.
The appointment was made in recognition of Dr. Agarwal’svaluable advise and support to fulfill the aim of Gandhi Peace Foundation for promotion and inculcation of ideas and principles of world peace, human rights, harmony, tolerance, non-violence, amity brotherhood, friendship, international understanding, and cooperation.
The main aim of Gandhian Philosophy is to create an atmosphere of peace and harmony by “Ahimsa” or non-violence in the world. Global peace has become a major concern in the present time considering the terrible challenge humanity is facing for its own existence. Mahatma Gandhi has been a source of inspiration not only for the nation but for the entire world. He inspired the world with his faith in truth and justice for all mankind.
