Toronto, Ontario Aug 26, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - Energy Storage Canada is excited to announce the addition of Annette Verschuren, for the 2nd Annual CEO Round Table discussing the Road Ahead for Energy in Canada at their annual conference on October 12, 2022, being held at the InterContinental in Toronto Ontario.
Annette Verschuren, O.C.(Order of Canada) is the Founder & CEO of NRStor Inc., an early developer of energy storage projects including pioneering first-of-their-kind; Grid-Connected Flywheel Storage & fuel-free compressed air energy storage (CAES) facilities. Annette & her team built the NRStor C&I business with Moe Hajabed before successfully selling to Blackstone. NRStor along with Six Nations of the Grand River is developing the 250MW Oneida project, here in Ontario. Annette is Chair of the Ontario Energy Association, member of the IESO Stakeholder Advisory Committee (SAC), an Officer of the Order of Canada, and Companion to the Canadian Business Hall of Fame.
Formerly, Annette was the president of Home Depot Canada and Home Depot Asia. Prior to joining Home Depot, she was the president and co-founder of Michaels Canada. She is also a published author with “Bet On Me”, which was a finalist for the National Business Book Award.
Annette will be joined by Lisa Raitt (CIBC), Ramya Swaminathan (Malta Inc), and Indriani (Indy) Butany-Desouza (Elexion Energy Inc).
