Lanham, Maryland Sep 2, 2020 (Issuewire.com)  - Exceed is excited to welcome Major General Marilyn Quagliotti, US Army Retired, to our cooperate staff as Chief Strategy Officer. Major General Marilyn Quagliotti will be in charge of Exceed’s strategic planning processes, act as a key advisor to our CEO, assist with external business development, and help forge new working relationships and synergies across the organization, and more.

She is a 2019 winner of the TIAW (The International Alliance for Women) Women Making a Difference award for Public Service/Government Category.

Major General Marilyn Quagliotti was the Vice President of Development and Senior Procurement Officer for Women In Military Service for America (WIMSA) Memorial Foundation from 2015–2020. In this role she was responsible for developing the strategic plan for ensuring the Foundation achieved financial stability and moved forward to attain the vision of making the Women’s Memorial the leading memorial and education center for women’s military service in the United States, securing a multi-million-dollar federal grant.

From 2011-2014 she was the Deputy Director Supply Reduction for the Office of National Drug Control Policy at The White House. In this position, the Honorable Marilyn Quagliotti was responsible for developing inter-agency policy to achieve the President’s Supply Reduction goals. She co-chaired the Inter-agency Policy Committee on Illicit Drugs and Transnational Criminal Organizations for the National Security Council. 

From 2007-2009, she was a Senior Manager for the Strategy and Operations Practice at Deloitte Consulting. She was responsible for the establishment of a new Strategic Business Unit and won a position for Deloitte on a large IDIQ contract, the only non-incumbent to be added to the contract. 

Throughout her 32-year U.S. Army career, General Quagliotti was a trailblazer for women in leadership positions. She led large organizations with global reach. Prior to assuming her role as Vice Director at the Defense Information Systems Agency, she implemented a total reorganization of DISA into a Strategy focused organization implementing performance metrics in line with strategic goals.

As Vice Director for Defense Information Systems Agency, she was the Chief Operating Officer of this large defense agency providing network services and cybersecurity services to the President, Vice President, Secretary of Defense, Joint Chiefs of Staff, and all Combatant Commanders, as well as the Military Services.

As the Theater Signal Commander for Europe and Chief Information Officer for all U.S. Army and Joint Forces in Europe her unit supported the Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR), Joint headquarters and deployed forces in Kosovo, Bosnia, Africa, and Afghanistan.

MG Quagliotti has a Master of Science degree in National Security Strategy from the National War College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Louisiana State University.
