Over 18 long months, a single service provider endured the lengthy process of researching how to become a registered NDIS provider and struggled to find all this information in one place. If a seasoned industry professional who knows all the lingo could find this process so time-consuming and discover an obvious lack of information being available in a single place then what hope did other providers or their customers have of being able to find it for themselves?
Well, this was when we first imagined the NDIS Provider Directory as an opportunity to create a single website for both providers and customers.
Our aim at the NDIS Provider Directory is to inform, educate, inspire and ultimately serve our community. We aspire to serve our community through offering industry updates, resources, reliable information and facilitating opportunities for customers and providers to connect seamlessly.
As we began building the platform we started to think about how to really make a difference, what could set us apart and truly improve the customer and carer experience. First, we started by offering a directory where you can search for providers by speciality, then we added the ability to search by location and then guess what? We kept thinking up new ways of adding value.
Fast forward to today and our website has the ability to accept provider reviews, upload brochures, connect via email and messages from customer to provider, offer links to providers websites, social media channels, post job advertisements, classified ads and so much more.
