Chicago, Illinois Jun 8, 2019 (Issuewire.com) - The Law Offices of Jeffery M. Leving, Ltd. will host the next compelling presentation of the Arthur S. Kallow Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Seminar Series Wednesday, June 19, at 6:30 p.m. at 19 S. LaSalle St. in Chicago, Illinois. The keynote speaker will be Travis Y. Richardson, a former judge for the Circuit Court of Cook County, who recently joined the Leving firm. The seminar will be moderated by internationally recognized family law attorney Jeffery M. Leving.
Prior to his tenure as a Judge, Richardson had a highly successful law practice with Myron Mackoff, the current judge in the Domestic Relations Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County. Richardson will present on: “The Judge’s Perspective: Strategies for Persuading Judges to Correctly Rule in Your Favor.” "To win for their clients, it is critical that attorneys strategically analyze all facts of a case, including the judge deciding the case. The judicial experience that Travis brings greatly benefits our clients in a complex and contentious divorce, custody and other family law and criminal matters,” Leving said.
In addition, highly experienced matrimonial attorneys Scott A. Shell and Anthony S. D’Agostino from the Leving firm will lecture on two very timely topics. Shell will present on: “The Department of Children and Family Services: How to Navigate the System,” particularly focusing on winning cases for clients wrongfully accused by DCFS of child abuse or neglect. D’Agostino will present on: “Best Transactional Practices in Family Law,” including how to draft airtight contracts that will accomplish a client’s goals.
The Kallow CLE Seminar Series has had great success since its inception in 2014. The Kallow Seminar Series provides crucial legal education to family law attorneys and other professionals looking to expand their legal knowledge.
