ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Hasina was born in Bangladesh and became an orphan as an infant. Raised in an orphanage, she was eventually adopted and came to Canada at the age of 3 years old. Ever since she read the Grimm Brothers’ “Fairy Tales” book, she had a love of writing. At the tender age of 8, she began writing short stories, later developing a passion for poetry during her teenage years, and eventually, as an adult, exploring the world of children's book writing. She had two of her poems published in a literary book when she was a teenager and received an Honorary Mention Certificate.
