Kalispell, Montana Jan 30, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - Once In A Lifetime Comes A Man is not just any love story, it is a story of two people meant to find each other and fall in love. Brought together by fate after 18 years with no contact, the author Grace Larson and her late husband Lyle were married within a year. The book captures their beautiful journey filled with moments of canoeing, horseback riding, traveling, raising, and training horses.
The powerful narration makes people believe in the power of love and its strength. The book has already won accolades like the LA Independent Women Film Awards for ‘Best Un Produced Script’ from Anne Gold.
“It was fate. Meeting Lyle after nearly two decades was nothing less than a miracle. He was forty-six years old and had never married. I was almost forty-two with three adult children and two ready to graduate high school. Only once in a lifetime is a person lucky enough to have true love. I had that with Lyle,” said Grace. “It is only with writing this book and reading his letters that I fully realize the depth of his being and his love for me.” She added.
In the words of the author - Once In A Lifetime Comes A Man is a story of tenacity and fate with a lot of help from my Higher Power that brought my Brown-Eyed Handsome Man.
Grace’s life story is a story of inspiration and determination. Born in Montana, she moved to Minnesota, raised five children, and worked in different trades to support her family. From a self-employed painter and house cleaner to skidding logs to working for large construction companies as a painter, Grace has never been afraid to accept a challenge and make her mark. “I never shy away from challenges. In the ‘70s, when trades were primarily male-dominated industries, I worked in trades and was the first woman hired in the trades in Anaconda Company history.”
In the early ’80s, she went to college to become a Chemical Dependency Counselor, started Adult Children Of Alcoholics groups, and helped clients maintain sobriety. She has been an inspiration to people all her life.
The book showcases Lyle’s love for his family, animals, and creation. It beautifully portrays his character, soft heart, humor, and intelligence. “He was a man of integrity and exemplary character and a good listener. The mark of a man is how a man lives his life, and my husband was that man - a good man who had a great mother and father.
