The safety, health and well-being of our customers, employees, business partners and the London community is of the utmost importance to us. Even in these times of uncertainty, people require mobility. At GREEN TAXI, we are committed to keeping our communities safe and our services open as long as possible in order to serve you. While a few of our operators have temporarily stopped working, most of our operators remain on the road with careful adjustments to their processes.
To help keep our vehicles safe for our clients and drivers, we have provided our drivers with the following proactive and preventative guidance, as outlined by the Public Health Agency of Canada, in response to the evolving COVID-19 situation. These include but are not limited to:
1. Before each ride, wiping down commonly touched surfaces to ensure customer safety. (e.g.: Door handles, seat belts, point of sale machine, steering wheel, gear shift, temperature & audio controls, wiper controls, etc.)
2. Requesting that all clients sit in the backseat while the vehicle is in motion.
3. Requiring our drivers to wear masks & gloves at all times & replace them between trips.
4. Keeping windows a bit open to allow fresh air to circulate inside the vehicle.
5. Asking all clients and drivers that are experiencing symptoms or that have travelled in the past 14-days to avoid using our services.
To further support our valued customers affected by the uncertain business and financial environment created by the current situation, we will also be offering the following discounts until further notice:
1. 25% OFF all rides for all clients.
2. 50% OFF all rides for our heroic Nurses, Doctors, Police Officers, & Firefighters.
