London, United Kingdom Jun 24, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - The Harley Street Health Centre announces formal endorsement of Surescreen COVID-19 rapid antibody test following on from excellent validation studies conducted at King’s College and Guy’s and St Thomas’ hospitals.
Made in Derby, Surescreen COVID-19 rapid antibody tests showed an overall accuracy of 99.6% for IgG antibodies from 20 days post-infection and since they have been in use at the clinic, have shown good correlation with clinical history and presentation.
Offering a result in ten minutes, the test reports on both IgG (longer term) and IgM (recent infection) antibodies with good accuracy. The Surescreen test beats all other rapid tests for IgM accuracy, making it a very useful tool for the detection of recent infection with COVID-19.
