Worthington, Ohio Apr 1, 2021 (Issuewire.com) - Today, HomeWell Care Services Central Ohio releases a heartwarming story to kick-off the month of April. When one of HomeWell Care Service’s Care Managers learned her client had a very special wish to be able to touch Florida ocean water and feel the sand between her toes one last time, Amanda knew she had to make it happen. Her client is no longer able to travel due to terminal illness and concerns with the world-wide pandemic, so Amanda Faulks, Care Manager, got creative and reached out for help. And help she got! Kevin Walters, Owner of HomeWell Care Services Gateway in Florida, answered the call for Florida sand and ocean water! Kevin drove to the beach with his family and personally collected ocean water, sand, and shells, and very carefully shipped it to Ohio. When word spread of the wish Amanda was granting for her client, other HomeWell franchisees joined in the effort. Christie Ramirez Castro, the Owner, HomeWell Care Services Sarasota, shipped a beautiful life-sized mural of the Siesta Key sunset to use to help the client have the Florida views and Rick Collier, former Florida native and now part of HomeWell Care Services East Nashville sent a favorite photo from his life in Florida to give to the client as a keepsake. David Schloss, Owner, HomeWell Care Services South Palm Beach, had a great idea and sent a white noise sound machine with ocean sounds to complete the full-sensory experience for the client. With the caring help from the HomeWell network, Amanda coordinated an amazing and beautiful experience for her client to enjoy and make her wish come true!
