Houston, Texas Aug 1, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - This summer, the brightest in streetwear and accessories have been dished up by Hyde Park Goods You Aren’t Invited and served by hip-hop stars. When the grand opening of the Hyde Park Goods Drip-E-Mart finally arrived in Texas, Houston was the only spot in the state that received a sneak peek of the 17 styles that make up the capsule.
But even with a little sneak peek, some products have already sold out, such as the Drip-E-Mart tote bag, a playful take on the popular reusable canvas bag with straps made of the brand’s signature “You Aren’t Invited” logo on repeat. T-shirts, sling bags, and shorts have also flown out the door.
The concept was loosely inspired by Bodega's LA store and their hard-to-find items hidden in plain sight, along with The Simpsons’ Kwik-E-Mart, where you can see Creative Director Hyde Park Jacob’s graffiti tag and a smiley face on the building. But the hottest in streetwear is still available, in a limited way.
Now that the grand opening has passed, the only way to get your hands on the remaining items from the collection is to register for the password by texting "COP IT" to (405) 251-8990. The password will be sent out to a select group of registrants on the day of the online drop.
But know in advance–No drip, no service.
Potential customers may need proof of purchase of previous Hyde Park products to shop this drop. And after its time in the sun in Houston, it’s a mystery where the Drip-E-Mart capsule may appear again, but industry insiders suggest Tokyo may be a good place to look.
