In the novel, young protagonist Daryl Jenkins is trying to recover from the pain of losing his best friend, Terry. The two had plans for the summer, but everything went for naught when Terry’s life was taken away because of a terrible car accident. While Daryl tries to move on and overcome the pain, will he be able to forgive the irresponsible man who took his best friend’s life and find peace?
Freda graduated from Messiah College near Harrisburg, PA with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in history. She earned her MA in Elementary Education at Shippensburg State College. Her interest in writing started at a very young age. She believes that her talent to write is a gift from God. She began writing for children while teaching at Bethel Christian School in New Jersey. She has authored two other children’s books: Renee’s Promise and Ninth Inning.
