New Orleans, Louisiana Jun 22, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - The year 2022 marks another special occasion for Eta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. as they also will be observing their 80th Anniversary. The theme for this year is “Continuing A Legacy of Education, Community Service, and Sisterhood.” The venue for this five-day conference will be the lush New Orleans Marriott Warehouse Arts District, located at 859 Convention Center Boulevard near the historical French Quarter. The venue will also provide hotel accommodations for Sorors and guests attending. This year’s Boulé is hosted by Eta Phi Beta Sorority’s Southern Region and the host city is the Nu Chapter. The Nu Chapter is located here in the city of New Orleans. The in-person 35th Biennial Grand Boulé truly is something the members have been looking forward to after the restrictions of the pandemic. There are also exciting activities that will be open to the public. In spite of the pandemic, their members have consistently given back to the community in the form of scholarship grants, volunteer service, and many hours of charitable activities. Indeed, the organization remains true to its motto, “Not for Ourselves, But for Others.”
Eta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. was founded on October 4, 1942, by eleven courageous and visionary women who attended the Lewis Business College in Detroit, Michigan.
