New Delhi, Delhi Aug 19, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - Consulting edtech startup Grazing Minds, which offers budget courses in BFSI, logistics, marketing, employability tools and career services for professionals, has raised $500,000 from UK based early-stage investment firm ASKA Investments led by Jonathan Harris.
This latest round of capital will be used to power growth on student employability in response to the current job market in India and globally, by creating new hiring-focused products and strengthening employer partnerships to help graduates in the post-pandemic economy, Grazing Minds said.
Mehak Verma - the CMO further stated that, "At this point, where the majority of edtechs are offering premium courses in digital skills, we are going back to the basics. Offering value adds on products to conventional degrees with as little as $30 or under Rs 2500. This way we ensure, professionals are able to upgrade themselves one skill at a time, without any monetary burden. Also, those who take our full-time programs get higher packages in placement from INR 6 lakhs which is at par with what some B-schools offer".
Started by Asish Dash in 2018, Grazing Minds focuses on employability-providing core skills to the urban youth and matching them to potential stakeholders in the business requiring a skilled workforce.
