London, United Kingdom Oct 25, 2019 (Issuewire.com) - Industrial music is not one of the genres that gain as much attention to any other commercial genre while this genre once revolutionized the way music was presented. While it got prominence in the 70s and went viral in the 80s by bands like Depeche Mode, there is one band that is keeping the industrial music grinding with their compositions. Head Fake is a band that is formed by a group of 80’s veteran artists and producers. While the music bandmaster on the classic industrial styles, it is back with its new album titled ‘Head Fake’ that is created by blending the energy and musicality of 80’s industrial with modern touches that all together create a new soundscape.
Coming to the EP ‘Head Fake’ it consists of three singles ‘Killing You’, ‘Lifeline’ and ‘One Step that is crafted by blending the elements of multiple genres like heavy metal, ambient, EDM and pop. The tracks also mostly play things straight with energizing rhythms and steady synths. Amongst the singles, the track ‘One Step’ has more dance-related beats that will keep you grooving. While vocals in this track appear in the later part but again it is what makes the track edgier.
The first single ‘Killing You’ revolves between droning riffs and drum sampling. The vocals are dominated by the booming music score. On the other hand ‘Lifeline’ is a clever blend between unparallel singing styles synchronized with cheesy music mix.
