Charlotte, North Carolina Dec 21, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - When Izzat Freitekh opened the doors to his restaurant La Shish Kabob in 2009, I was living a few miles away attending UNCC. I was very happy an authentic middle eastern restaurant opened its doors next to me. Little did I know that this restaurant ended up being my everyday restaurant and the owner will be considered as a father figure to me.
Every time I go there, I see Mr. Izzat Freitekh working so hard at all hours of the day. They open at 11:00 am until he closes the doors at 11:00 pm. I witnessed him helping people in need as well. I have seen hundreds of catering plates heading to a number of nonprofit organizations, such as Ourbridge (www.joinourbridge.org), etc.
