Leving represented dad in a hotly contested post-decree divorce case. Leving’s client, a devoted father of a little boy, was reportedly indigent, while the ex-wife was quite wealthy. During the case, Leving filed a petition for fees for his client, arguing that the ex-wife should pay dad’s attorneys’ fees, as she earned a substantial income and he did not. Leving won. The Judge agreed with Leving and entered an Order requiring the ex-wife to pay dad’s attorneys’ fees and costs.
“This was the right result for accountability. Now, this great dad can just enjoy being with his little boy, without worrying about how he is going to pay his attorneys’ fees and costs. Justice achieved,” said Leving.
