She feels that the best treatment she can give to a patient is one that returns them to the important things in their life that they experienced prior to their illness.

Academically, Dr. Seidelman graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2009. She then went on to earn her medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in 2013.
Furthering her training, she performed her residency in internal medicine and her fellowship in infectious disease at Duke University in 2016 and 2019, respectively. She also completed her Master of Public Health degree in Epidemiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Public Health in 2019.
Dedicated to her specialty, she is board-certified in infectious disease and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). Among her professional affiliations, Dr. Seidelman is an active member of the Musculoskeletal Infections Society, the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America, and the Infectious Diseases Society of America.

She is also interested in the field of infection prevention and control, which focuses on a way to prevent and control infections that are transferred in the health care setting. Specifically, her area of interest is surgical site infection prevention.
Since 2019, Dr. Seidelman has been serving as an Assistant Professor of Medicine within the Division of Infectious Diseases at the Duke University School of Medicine.
