Ji Mei Flower Launches Online Flower Subscription Service, DIY Baby Noble Fir and Wreath Sets, and 'Live' Christmas Tree

Increase in Demand for Home Beautification Spurs Local Nursery to Provide New Floral Subscription Service for Homeowners

Singapore, Singapore Nov 29, 2021 (Issuewire.com)  - The onset of the pandemic has spurred a ‘botanic boom’ in Singapore with nurseries like Ji Mei Flower experiencing an increase in local sales over the last 12 months.   With many working from home, and not being able to travel, there has been an increase in interest in home beautification to make the home office a more conducive place to work and live.

Ji Mei Flower responds to this interest with the launch of an online Fresh Flower Subscription Service, designed to provide a hassle-free way to complete living and workspaces with the touch of beautiful blooms.  Flowers beautify the living space, and have also been proven to provide important benefits for emotional wellbeing1 by promoting positive emotions and reducing stress levels.

Subscriptions start at $35 (Classic) or $55 (Premium) per week (minimum 4 weeks with free delivery to one address).  Subscribers get up to a 20% discount on the retail price.  For first-time orders, subscribers will receive a starter kit that includes a decorative vase, pruning shears, and flower food to keep cut blooms fresh for a longer period.  The freshest blooms for the week are handpicked and sent to subscribers in their original packaging, to be self-arranged by the recipient.

“We wanted to give more value to customers during these trying times and bring some freshness into their homes.  From discussions with our customers, we realised that some were hesitant to go out to shop, so we came up with the idea of a fresh flowers subscription service,” says Daniel Chua, Business Development Manager of Ji Mei Flower.  “A floral subscription service is also a meaningful way for loved ones to stay in touch and brighten up days in these days of social distancing.”

Subscriptions range from 1, 3, and 6 months, with an option to stop the subscription with 5 working days’ notice prior to the next subscription cycle. There is also the option to pause or redirect the subscription, with advance notice.

‘Live’ USA Christmas Trees

For yet another Christmas with minimal travel, Ji Mei Flower has ‘live’ Noble Fir and Nordmann Fir trees from the USA to bring the spirit of an authentic Christmas home. USA Christmas trees are known for their luxuriant, brighter firs and durability.

The Noble Fir has a full, layered conical appearance, with their plump needles and branches retaining water well which helps them stay fresh longer. The rigid branches of the Noble Fir support heavy ornaments well, and their distinctive yet mild, woodsy evergreen scent brings the spirit of Christmas to the home.

The Nordmann Fir displays a ‘full’ appearance in both branches and foliage.  Needles display a dark, green, glossy upper surface with a contrasting silvery white under-surface and are flat with rounded tips, growing in symmetrical rows circling around the branch. The Nordmann Fir has excellent needle retention that makes it a great choice for any climate, and its light scent makes it a suitable tree for customers with allergies, kids, and pets.

Trees are available for pre-order early bird pricing online or in-store from now till 30 November. Trees range from 3 to 12 feet tall and are priced between S$105 to S$445, with early bird prices ranging from S$85 to S$385.   Prices are shown in Appendix A.
