Tallahassee, Florida Aug 5, 2025 (Issuewire.com) - John2tact, an emerging emo rap artist, released his 9-track EP 'Tears'- a deeply personal project dropped on his 19th birthday. This isn’t just an EP; it’s a tribute to Juice Wrld, Lil Peep, and 6 Dogs—artists whose music pulled John2tact through loss, pain, and moments when life felt unbearable.
Tears weave their influence into every track. “The john wrld song” echoes Juice Wrld’s signature emotional intensity, while “wrld go round” channels the raw vibe of Juice’s early Juicethekidd days. “Unicorn piss pizza” brings 6 Dogs’ quirky energy to life, and the “6 dogs freestyle” is a standout—every bar cleverly references one of 6 Dogs’ songs, a feat John2tact pulled off on the fly. “Castle walls” nods to Lil Peep’s gothic castle imagery, and “overdose” digs into the heaviest themes, tying the deaths of these icons to John2tact’s own experiences. The EP’s roots run deep. John2tact wrote “overdose” after losing someone close to an overdose around the same time Juice Wrld passed in 2019. “It hit me like a double blow,” he says. “My favorite artist and my favorite person—gone the same way.” The pain piled up when an ex called, tearing him down with words like, ‘Your music’s going nowhere; go overdose.’ She threw his past in his face—a high school incident where he was laced, seized on the floor, and someone yelled ‘Juice Wrld, Juice Wrld’ as he went down.
Instead of breaking, he turned that darkness into Tears. “These artists saved me,” John2tact shares. “I’d be high, miserable, and ready to end it, and I’d just crank their music louder. I’d get lost in it and make it through the night. This EP is my thank you—to them and to anyone who’s ever felt that low.” Fans can stream Tears now on Spotify and SoundCloud.
