Early Life
Akoi Abuoi Akoi popularly known as Jubana Crux is a South Sudanese Hip Hop artist.
Other than being a rapper, Jubana Crux is also a Singer, a songwriter, and a music producer.
Jubana Crux was born in a place called Lobone, Eastern Equatoria, South Sudan.
Later on, due to some obvious reasons, he was brought to East Africa specifically, Kenya, in search of better education.
Apparently, Jubana came to Kenya, Nairobi to be specific, and joined the school and that was basically the starting of his school life where he later on, of course after he was done with high school, ventured into music.
But before finishing high school studies, Jubana had already developed an interest in music.
Some of the rappers or artists that he looked up to are Quavo, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, and Austin Mahone among many others.
He’d sing their songs or rap their lyrics word by word.
So whenever there was an event in the school, he’d make sure that he was presenting either rap lyrics or a song, both from any of those big artists that he was looking up to.
For obvious reasons, he was the school celebrity, the school-only hip-hop rapper plus many other names he was given already. Remember these school events were being performed as competitions. So whenever Jubana would perform, he was obviously in a competition.
But it’d never be a surprise every time Jubana won.

Musical Journey
When Jubana was finally out of high school, he’d go from one studio to the other, just to have a look at how music is produced!
He’d see artists recording and with time he learned how music was recorded, produced, and mastered.
So by the time he was now recording his own written music, he already had an idea of how he was going to do it.
Jubana recorded his first debut single called BLACK BEAUTY.
Depending on the level Jubana was at, at the time, the song was a hit, because everyone that had heard it, would give a very positive reaction, after which he became so much more confident in being an artist.
Any other person that was coming up at the time would hit Jubana up for a feature since he was the talk of the town at that particular time.
After that record, the rest of the songs recorded by Jubana were 99% hits.
Among many songs that Jubana has done is PING PING,WALAHI BILAHI,
LOWKEY,YOLO,BIG UP.
Jubana Crux says he’s the only South Sudanese rapper that makes sense.
And the rest of his musical journey hasn’t been that different from the other artists’ journeys.
He’s gone and still going through it like many other artists are.
Jubana Crux is the ONLY VERSATILE SOUTH SUDANESE ARTIST.
